There is a new blog in the neighbourhood! “Turcot: An All-In-One Resource on the Turcot Project”. turcot.wordpress.com.
Turcot (the blog) is an on-line resource pulling together all the information on the province’s proposal for reconstructing the Turcot complex and a summary of the issues and actors involved. The major themes to date are health, environment, alternatives, economy, housing, and the BAPE.
For example, many people in the area are asking…What is the B.A.P.E. ? More about it here…
On turcot.wordpress.com, you can read newspaper articles, alternative proposals, and find about recent events and meetings. You can view videos, slideshows, maps, and photos. You can even listen to the B.A.P.E. hearings and Q&A periods. It is your on-stop resource to keep abreast with all that is about the Turcot Complex.
The Turcot blog team is looking for contributors and researchers. If you find any online-or-off-line resources about the Turcot project that you think should be included please let them know. The primary contact person is jamcarruthers at gmail dot com.
I hope that this blog will be neutral and not as alarmist as some other blogs around the subject. Will follow!
