This has to be the strangest posting so far on this blog but it is worth telling everyone about it.
A few weeks ago a documentary called Heavy Metal in Baghdad was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. The documentary is about a heavy metal band from Baghdad called Acrassicauda, and their lives before and during the war in Iraq. The members of the band have since escaped to Syria and are now in Turkey.
